Description
Founded by Samuel Cornish not long after he resigned from Freedom's Journal, The Rights of All was published monthly at 149 Church Street, at one dollar a year in advance. In its first issue, Cornish declared the newspaper's intent to "remove the many abuses which exist among his brethren, to promote habits of industry and economy, and to inculcate the importance of an improved education."
