Description

I'll think of thee when morn's first flush,

Shall stream its glittering rays on high,

Of thee, when twilight's crimson flush

Shall spread and kiss the eastern sky,—

I'll think of thee in gloomiest hours,

And in the spring time's brightest glow,

Of thee, when Autumn's dying flowers

So mournfully around me strew.

I'll think of thee when clouds depart,

And cares and troubles all shall flee;

Yes, thine, forever thine! my heart

Shall ever cherish thoughts of thee!

And when in pleasure's giddy rounds

From cares and toils of mind you're free,

Or if you drain life's bitter grounds,

My earnest prayer is—"Think of me."
