Fear Not, Love
Dublin Core
Title
Fear Not, Love
Description
Fear not, love, though all forsake thee,
Faithless friends that round thee hover'd,
Though a scornful world may frown,
I will never cease to love thee,I will ne'er thy name disown.
In thy happier days, remember,All my heart was pldged to thee;
Now, when fate conspires to crush thee,I will not unfaithful be.
Faithless friends that round thee hover'd,
When thy path with flowers was strown,
Now, when winter's blast approaches,All like summer birds are flown;
But fear not, though all forsake thee,I will ne'er unfaithful be;
I will never cease to love thee—E'en till death I'll cling to thee.
