Title

Easter

Description

He is risen! He is risen!
Let it echo far and near,
Tell it out to every nation,
All can in His glory share.
Earth is robed in spotless beauty,
Ready to receive the King,
In the triumph of His kingdom,
Heaven and earth His praises sing.

Hark! the sound of heavenly music,
Falls upon our listening ear;
Angels chant the Resurrection,
We can join the echo clear.
Glorious news the saints are telling
Of a city robed in light,
Where the King, in all His beauty,
Dazzles their admiring sight.

Kings and martyrs, priests and prophets,
Join the ransomed hosts above;
As the King of glory enters,
Then ascend the songs of love!
Open wide the gates of glory!
Hearts of stone for Him make way!
Through eternal ages singing -
"Christ the Lord is risen to-day!"
